C-More IP Address Change on New Panel
I'm trying to set up a new 10" wide screen C-More I just pulled out of the box. I've got version 6.60 of the C-More software installed. When trying to configure through Ethernet, I'm getting a "Change IP address from software is disabled for selected panel." I haven't seen this in the past. What do I do with this and is there a section in the manual that covers this?
What firmware came in the panel? I expect version v6.53. The selection that is causing the error does not exist in v6.53, but v6.60 thinks it does exist and that it is disabled.
This was a bug in v6.60. Download and install v6.61 you should be able to change the IP Address in the new panel using this version.
Just updated to v6.61. Put v6.61 on the panel and I'm still receiving the same message.
If you were able to update Firmware, I am assuming you did this over USB since you cannot change the IP Address?
On the system screen, make sure you indeed have version 6.61 Firmware. Also in the System screens, Reset Factory Defaults.
If this does not correct the issue, download a project (by the same method you updated firmware), make sure in the Panel Network window, in the Ethernet Port setup the selection, "Enable IP address to be changed from the software" is selected.

^^This was the issue. Initially I upgraded using USB.
