Dataview does NOT write Array data if sent from the expanded array

I can not get dataview to write array values to PAC -- if I use the array - highlighted in red

If I use the explicit array(index), it works - highlighted in yellow

(I cannot send STR or S32)

Dataview String ArrayI do not recall this happening in other versions.

I have this issue in 3.6.1.2, 3.7.0.10 and 3.7.1.6.

I do NOT remember this happening in these version before today.

Did I or MS break something? Thoughts.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled 3.7.1.6 twice (I redownloaded the .zip file before the second reinstall) still does not write.

Maybe I will uninstall, reboot and reinstall! later

For the yellow highlighted fields they are not showing any values in the value field?

I noticed you had the Modbus column hidden. Do me a favor and reselect Modbus Address to show that column again.

Do you still have the issue?

I can't duplicate what you are seeing but did some other odd behavior when the column is hidden.

      YES!!!

If I show the Modbus Address column, the write works for STR and S32.

      Thank you.

        As a follow-up:

When the Modbus Address column is hidden and the array writes do not work, the highlight -- Tag Edited Not Sent to CPU -- does not go away, even if I write the value using the explicit array write.

Enable Auto Edits does send the edits - regardless of Modbus Address visibility.

If I have the [EXPANDED ARRAY] columns arranged like this

[Modbus Address] [Tagname] [Value] [Edit] [Comment]

      Send works

[Tagname] [Modbus Address] [Value] [Edit] [Comment]

      Send works

[Tagname] [Value] [Modbus Address] [Edit] [Comment]

      Send works

[Tagname] [Value] [Edit] [Modbus Address] [Comment]

      Send fails

[Tagname] [Value] [Edit] ] [Comment] [Modbus Address]

      Send fails

If ever the [Modbus Address] column is not visible

Send fails -- except as noted earlier about Enable Auto Edits
