Emailing from CMore using a Stride VPN Rounter

I am trying to email alarms from a CMore panel and it is not working. I have contacted the customers ISP and they monitored all traffic when I tried sending an email and he said he saw nothing.

 

He then came to the site to look at it with me and we found we can not ping 8.8.8.8 on the LAN side of the router and also could not resolve smtp.gmail.com.

 

Does anyone know if it is possible to send emails on the LAN side of a stride router and if so, what is the trick? I initially followed the video on youtube for sending emails from a CMORE and have also tried using an email seriver from the site ISP.

    Besides the network settings being correct in C-more, importantly the Default Gateway.

     

    Do you have the setting "allow access to internet" in the StrideLinx router under Config -> Firewall -> Lan -> Wan selected to ON?
