I would like to have the stepper motor make a move, at the end of which the motor is released as if the power has been turned off, to allow the components i am moving to settle into a natural place. Is this possible? Thanks. I have a DL-05DD with a STP-DRV-4035 drive, STP-PWR-3204 power supply, and STP-MTR-34066 Motor.

it seems like releasing the ENABLE circuit to the drive would do this.

I was going to say that those connections are not used according to the set-up diagram. Then i actually looked at what those connections do and they do exactly what i need. Thanks!
