Can a SVL-210 be repaired?

This motor drives a lathe lead screw. While adjusting the slide mechanism, I think I loosened things up too much, and the lead screw bound up, so that when I tried to run the motor, it overloaded (~185% of max load) and then popped up the ALE06 code. Now when I run the motor (disconnected from the machine), it seems to buzz a little, and it keeps throwing the ALE06 (overload) code. Is this repairable? Or do I just replace the motor?

The motor may have an open or damaged winding. Check the motor power connection, while disconnected from drive, with a ohm meter across leads U-W, then U-V, then V-W. All should have the same OHMS reading. Infinite OHMs on any two leads is bad. Then Check each power lead to the motor metal casing for shorts. Zero OHMS to the motor case is a short.

They are cheaper to have repaired then buying new.

Here is one link I found with a Bing search: http://www.plccenter.com/Buy/AUTOMATION%20DIRECT/SVL210?reload=1

If your asking, I have been using Global Electronic Service for repairing my no longer manufactured servo motors.
