hello, I got VFD Hitachi L100 series 2 HP and I want to operate it with remote pot (analog joystick) in both directions were 0 speed is when the pot is the middle. Is that possible and if yes how to do it. Here is link to VFD's manual: http://igor.chudov.com/manuals/Hitachi-L100-Series-VFD-Manual.pdf *Thanks *

The AutomationDirect version of the manual was clearer but it seems to confirm that offsetting the analog input to create a reverse-zero-forward control was not possible.

Thank you for the answer. Do you know any drives that can do that. I prefer single phase 220v around 3hp

The GS2 from Automation Direct can do this. It's page 4-37 in my manual. You can download it for free.

Neat! I'm not sure what I would ever need this for, but you just never know. I'll keep it in mind. Thanks Vaughn.
