I can home my machine at power up okay. I use the home trigger to send the axis to the home sensor. The "home complete " bit sets. I am using DO3 from the drive. The axis makes it move and the "home complete " bit (DO3)stays on even after the axis moves to a position. I find this strange. Why does not the home complete drop? The reason I ask is that I want to be able to go home again. I trigger the home trigger but because the "home complete " bit is still set I can not home unless I power down the servo, let the program come back up and the program tells it to go home. So what good is using the trigger home using inputs feature if it can not be used more than once. I should just use the home at power up since I have to power down to home each time. Is there a way around this? I really wanted to keep it simple with out loading position in MODBUS. I simply want to home anytime I want to by using the "trigger home " input.
