Hello I have a 230 VAC 3 phase motor, 7.5 horse. I want to use a DuraPulse drive to control it, but only have 230 VAC 1 phase available. How much do I need to derate the drive? I was thinking a 15 horse drive would be sufficient? Any problems with this Thanks. Joe

The DuraPulse Drives are not designed to accept single phase input. I recommend looking at the Hitachi SJ100-055LFU. This drive is rated for single or 3 phase input 200vac to 240vac, can do sensorless vector, and is rated for a 7.5HP motor. no derating is needed.
