    Hi golash,

I believe that they are both 32VDC (fully loaded)

In general, you can use just about any voltage to operate the SureStep stepping motors as long as the rated current is maintained by the driver. In the case of the two motors you mentioned this would be 2.8 Amps.

The SureStep power supply provides 32 VDC when fully loaded and with nominal ac input voltage. ADC provides the torque-speed profiles that can be achieved when using the SureStep system components (power supply, driver, extension cable, and motors).

So, the SureStep stepping motors can be operated at lower voltages but the maximum possible speed will be reduced. On the other hand, if voltage higher than 32 VDC is provided then higher motor speeds are possible. Once again, in all cases, the motor rated current must be maintained and the voltage used will determine maximum speed capability.

Does that mean the higher the voltage the higher the torque and what is the maximan volt you can go.

Never mind I just read it, 40V
