Will the F2-04rtd work in expansion modules? Or does it have to be in the rack the CPU is

You may want to make sure you have a current firmware in the CPU. I had problems with one system we expanded were the CPU had been in service for years. After updating the firmware the analog worked fine. I think it was the combo card with the analog in and out on the same card, so it may not be an issue with the RTD card. But keeping the firmware up to date is still a good thing to do.
