Do-More with old backplane?

I have some old DL-205 series bases that does not have the expansion port on the end (e.g. D2-04 for a four-slot base). Can this be used with a Do-More, or is it required to use a new base (e.g. D2-06BDC1-1)?

It should work. Do-more does not support EM/CM for expansion anyway. It does support Ethernet I/O on the Ethernet port of the H2-DM1E CPU for up to 16 slaves of I/O, including GSEDrives.
