Password Protect DL05 Disables HMI

I used the password protection option to secure the program from being copied but now my HMI cannot write to the PLC. HMI is on Port 1 of the DL05. Anyway around this?

    Use a password which is the capital letter 'A ' followed by exactly 7 numerals - eg A1234567 - this is in the manual.
