I would like to send information from my ea7-t6cl to a dl-06 BUT I want to lock my dl-06 from any other incoming information. I was thinking of a way which the hmi would send the password before to unlock the dl-06 in the same way directsoft5 ask for a password. Thank you for your future answer and sorry for the bad english.

While it would be a good feature to have, unfortunately the DL06 cannot do this at this time. About the best you can do is lock the DL06 with a 8 number password with the first number being a capital A followed by seven digits.

This will lock the program from being viewed and only allow access to the Vmemory.

A useful improvement would be to have a MAC address and/or IP address whitelist for which remote devices are allowed to read/write to the PLC. No encryption or keys, and no change to the protocols needed, so it would be easy to add. I know it's not a perfect solution (MAC addresses can be spoofed), but it would be far better than the current wide-open situation, where any device can write to the PLCs memory registers at will.
