Hi, Can someone point me in the right direction? I have been asked to look into tracking production and displaying real time percentage and target data. I have done some visual basic programing in excel before but my question is. How do I export my count data from a DL06 to a PC program? Specifically Excel. Thank You keklon

The easiest way would probably be to put an Ethernet module and use DataWorx software on a PC.

This will save the files off on the PC as .csv files which you can then open in Excel.

Alternatively you could also install a Cmore HMI and log teh data off to a USB pen drive as .csv files as well.

This item will provide the software communication link between Excel and the PLC. Your Excel spreadsheet will initiate the transfer of information.

Obviously, seeing othe posts there are a few options available.

The only problem with KepDirect and Excel is that it will only capture snapshot data when the spreadsheet is open.

If you want true logging then there is a lot of extra programming that will need to be done.
