I am setting up a DL06 system with a F0-08ADH-1 analog input card (4-20mA current loop). The F0-08ADH-1 analog input card will receive analog output signals from an instrument that can provide 4-20mA against a max 500 ohm load using its analog output card. The shield is not landed at the instrument. Documentation for F0-08ADH-1 shows one lead to Ch1, the shield to COM and the other lead to +24VDC. How should it be wired? One lead to Ch1 and the other and shield to COM?

We need more information on the instrument itself to give a satisfactory answer.

Thanks; I'll give tech support a call and discuss the specifics.
