i know i can use a router and get the hmis and dl06 to work but, what I would like to do is, use my exitising network using freewave to ethernet radios. Can I use a switch locally and manuel ip each equpiment. have a ho ecom100 in dl 06 factory settings. This network is for only remote access and alarms. I dont wont to shut the site if i lose the radio signal. thanks for your help.

thanks d. This is what i did just assiagned them static ip on the same network. Got them working them added radio and then port forwarded. I used a switch, i just wanted the router because of the wireless. But, i may add a access point for the wireless. Rains alot here and get get to close with my truck in alot of places.:D
