I am using a DL06 Secondary Commport set for non-sequence ASCII with RS-485 4 wire. I am communicating with a single RS485 ASCII device. Everthing works great at 9600 baud, send/receive no issues. Any other speed seems to cause a fault with my slave device even though it communicates with my PC at higher baud rates. My Question is: Is the DL06 RS485 non-sequence (ASCII) limited to 9600 baud, or is this worth pursuing further? Any suggestions on what to look at if higher bauds are available? Thanks in advance!

If you are sending and receiving program the other device for a longer wait time before responding. Their response may be treading on the Xmt->Rcv turn around.

Works great now up to 38400. I think it may have been due to a timing issue in my ladder logic. It works without and with a response delay on my slave device.
