Hello Everyone. Just received my DL06 in the mail. This is my first AD plc. I have the D0-06DD2-D version, which is powered by an external 24 VDC power supply. I have read in the manual about the base unit supplying a limited amount of 5VDC power. Is there no external connection for this power source? I have a small torque/current detecting circuit that requires a 5VDC power source and I'd rather just tap into the existing power source rather than add a regulator/filter circuit. Thank you.

The 5VDC power is for communication interface only. It is present at the communication ports only.

Darn. I'm going to have to add a few more components then.

    Thanks for the info.
