Three bases - each D2-0XB-1. DL-260 in middle base - D2-EM Termination is OFF Other two bases - D2-EM terminations are ON D2-CMs in Expansion Local bases rotary switches set at '1 ' and '2 ' System powers up, one base everything is OK, Main CPU sees it. Other base D2-CM 'Run ' light is blinking. (Pwr is ON, Diag is OFF) BASE 120 VAC power is ok, grounding is OK, producing 24VDC ok. Removed all I/O modules, just D2-CM, still blinking Swapped D2-CM's and D2-EMs between bases. This base still has 'blinking ' on its D2-CM 'run ' light. It does this whether or not communication cable is installed. We are assumiung a bad base and are starting to get hold of a replacement. But, any other ideas?

Actually posting my own replay.
I see this previous thread but it doesn't seem to apply. Our 'blinking ' follows the base only. Maybe just another reason for blinking 'run ' light.

A bad base could cause a blinking Run light. If it follows the base, I'd replace it and see if it cures it.

Not to be picky but why isn't 'blinking ' for the 'run ' light in the manual with a list of possible causes? It sure would help with troubleshooting.

I'll see what I can do.
Edit: I added it as a FAQ to the DL205 list. Best I can do for short term to get it out there. FAQ
