I have two DL06s that are connected via an Ethernet hub, Station3 and Station4. Station3 can initiate reads and writes to/from Station4 with no problems. Station4 cannot initiate reads or writes from Station3. Using the SP bits on Station4, as soon as the ECOM is not busy, it shows an error. There are no error lights on the hardware. Any thoughts? Any way to know what the error is beyond just knowing it's there? If it makes a difference, we have just upgraded computers and had to setup the IPX protocol again and run NetEdit3 to assign IP addresses. I just used the two mentioned in the manual--192.168.55.5 to Station3 and 192.168.70.15 for Station4. Both PLCs are able to communicate to each others programming PCs over the Ethernet connections so there shouldn't be any address issues. I tried it with Peer-to-Peer on and off and no difference. thanks

What are the subnet mask values for each ECOM100 module? From your description, they should probably both be set to 255.255.0.0.
Make sure the subnet mask on both ECOM100 modules are the same.

I went to edit the submask and could not get the same screen the manual shows on page 3-8. I can only edit the IP address; there was not a form for changing the submask or gateway.
But, I updated the firmware and bootware with NetEdit3 and now they both work in both directions.

Glad to see you got it working! You must have H0-ECOM modules - I assumed you had H0-ECOM100 modules, my bad.
