I have a D4-450 and installed a D4-EE-2 memory cartridge. Before installing the memory cartridge I saved the project to disk and I also copied the config data from PLC to disk. When activating the memory cartridge I copied everything from Flash ROM to cartridge. In order to be even safer, I saved the project to PLC and copied config data from disk to PLC (a little redundant, I know). The program and data were successfully transferred to the memory cartridge but the I/O configuration seems to be wrong. Are there any special considerations to keep in mind when installing a D4-EE-2 in an old system? Does the PLC need a power cycle after everything has been copied to the cartridge?
