I have just loaded DS5 on a new laptop and tried to install a program from it to a new D4-450DC-1. the program loads fine but i receive a E401 error code that means I don't have an "END " statement. I do have an "END " statement but it is not visible unless I double click on the rung that it is on. This program was working fine on the original PLC before I switched it out to a new one. What am I missing.

Are you online when you double click on the rung to show the END statement. And why do you have to double click? That doesn't make sense. Are you saying that it doesn't show or is off to the right?

Is there anything else on that rung besides the END statement? Is it (the END statement) visible normally when you are offline?

    Is the screen background black?

    radar,

You have some of the best helping you with this problem. I'm curious about if the end statement shows up when you "export " the program.

    end statement

i figured it out. I'm a an idiot.....

    background was same color.

end statement always there just couldn't read it.

i don't know why the fatal error of "no end statement " went away though when i reconnected. Its working fine now.

    thanks for the responses
