I'm trying to get H0-CTRIO to handle an input from a laser count sensor on conveyor system. When trying to extract the count into the PLC it is in a HEX format and I can't seem to figure out how to get it to convert to BCD for viewing on a touch panel. Any help on how to get this to work would be greatly appreciated. I know it is something stupid but I just can't find it. Thanks,

EZCOM, try the BCD instruction, for example:
LDD V2000 (CH1 current count)
BCD
OUTD V3000
V3001/V3000 would hold the BCD value of current count.
Then you would select "BCD int 32 " for the data type in the C-more.
Does this do what you need it to do?

Or you can set the data type in the touch panel to Signed Integer or Unsigned Integer and leave the data as is.
