Manual says have to use to line of ladder in RS232 sending device. How do you read the weight from a device you can't enter lines of ladder

    Manual says have to use two lines of ladder in the RS232 connected sending device. How do you read the weight from a device you can't enter lines of ladder into.

    That's not what the manual is saying. You need to write ladder code in the PLC to receive ASCII data.

    Look at chapter 5 at the instructions. Look specifically for the AIN (ASCII IN) instruction.

    Thanks I was looking in the D0-DCM manual. Chap 5 of the PLC has the info I needed ! !
