EDRUM in test mode

I am getting strange behavior from the EDRUM in test mode. When I run a single scan the EDRUM sometimes doesn't move to the next step even when the "event " element is on and there is no value in the "count " column. It seems to do this most on steps that have a timer element as the "event " logic. When running several scans, the step will usually increment, but then may revert back on the next single scan. I'm using DirectSoft v5.2 and a DL06 PLC. Any ideas? Josh

Tech support helped me out on this one, but in case anyone has a similar problem:

The event is edge-triggered, so when I single-scan the timer continues and turns on when the PLC is not running. Therefore, the edge is not seen and the drum does not increment to the next step.
