Can I use the MDM-TEL to a D0-DCM on my DL06 PLC for online programming. I need to be able to MONITOR and PROGRAM my DL06 PLC over a phone line.

jdegama, Although we have not used the D0-DCM, we have used the MDM-TEL with a D2-DCM and a D4-DCM. We were able to connect, monitor, and program the PLC using DirectSOFT. We also can use LookoutDirect with the MDM-TEL. The catalog describes the D0-DCM also working with the MDM-TEL. An important difference between the D0-DCM and the D2-DCM is that the D2-DCM has switches to set parameters, where the D0-DCM requires ladder instructions to modify the default parameters. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. Ladder instructions will be fine. I am also trying to find out if the D0-DCM can be set to:
Baud Rate: 38.4K
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 1
Data Bits: 8
Flow Control: None
These setting match other equipment that I use the MDM-TEL to connect with.

jdegama, Yes, the D0-DCM manual lists 38.4K baud, and your other settings as valid settings. Although the catalog advertises the D0-DCM working with the MDM-TEL, the MDM-TEL manual does not include the D0-DCM as one of the compatible devices to be used with the MDM-TEL. I suspect that the MDM-TEL manual was written before the D0-DCM was available, and has not yet been revised to include the D0-DCM.
