I just bought a new D0-05AR, F0-04AD-1, EA1-S3ML, and FA-24ps from AD and a 0-5000 psi transducer. Everything appears to be wired correctly, but I never see any change at the raw data location. I used the new IBOX to set up the module, and checked the values in V7700 and v7701, and they seem right. SP610 is off, which says xmitter signal good. I have a warning on the system info screen "E263 Invalid i/o reference ". I searched this forum and found one topic on this error. So I 've tried initializing the scratch pad and also clearing the plc memory and starting over with no luck. Unfortunatly, I don't have the luxury of another module laying around to try. Any ideas anyone?? Here's the logic. What slot is the module physically in? The first slot is "slot 1 ", not "slot 0 " as in 205 and 405.

Ignore that post - I thought you were dealing with an 06. You 're using an 05, which only has one slot, slot 1.

When doing integer math with Multiply and Divide, do your multiplies first, then your divides.
In rung 3, if your "scaled ton value " is 999 or less, your "tonnage value " will always be 0.
It's best to do

I'll switch that around. However, I don't think that is the problem though. I 've already tried running with that rung removed and still nothing changing at the "raw data location " and still had the "E263 " warning.

I 've now tried hooking up one of our furnace temp controllers to this input module, and it doesn't register in the PLC either. I 've wired in an ammeter and it shows both power supply/transmitter systems were supplying proper current through the module.
Could the new module be faulty?
Or is it a problem with the "E263 warning "?
What causes the "E263 " warning???

According to the DL05 manual, E263 means "Out of range addresses have been assigned while manually configuring the I/O. Correct the address assignments using AUX46. "
The AUX functions are for use with the handheld. When you use DirectSoft software you don't really know you 're using the AUX functions.
At any rate, it sounds like there is an issue with addresses assigned to the analog module. That would certainly explain the behavior you 're seeing.

I just got off the phone with Don from Facts tech support. Turns out the Vmemory area I was trying to use is reserved for timer values. I should have checked the manual instead of just the memory map in DS5. I moved everything up to start at V1200 and now it all works.
