Does anyone have experience with sending emails directly from a DLO6 using ibox commands within the Directsoft5 program? I read the help files and see how to set up the emails. What i have not figured out is how to attached a days worth of data collection from V memory locations. Or simply how to attach files to the email. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris Walker

    Oooh, some more detail.

Please read the other post. Also, you are limited to about 105 bytes of data to send in each email, but this includes the To: and Subject: fields, in addition to the body.

Your best bet is to do something in the message area like:

    V2000 V2001:B V2002:R C0 V2004

to pack the most data in a single email. Then you can send multiple emails to get all your data.

Don't forget to turn on dipswitch 7 on your ECOM100! Please take advantage of moving all your To: email addresses to the cc: data field INSIDE the ECOM100 module to maximize the message length inside the ECEMAIL IBox. Use NetEdit or browse to the ECOM100 setup page via your favorite web browser and the ECOM100's IP address, or use the ECEMSUP IBox.
