I am currently working on a project for a machine tool and as a part of the functionality of what we are constructing includes audable notification. I am curious if anyone could tell me the simpleist way of going about this. When the machine sends a signal I would like it produce an audiable signal consisting of three or four beeps.... What would be the easist way of producing these beeps when the signal is sensed. We are using the dl05 with the ethernet module which in the future we plan to aslo intergrate the email function to this signal too. Your help will be gratefully appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Google 'sonalert ' for a wide variety of devices. Also go to http://www.RadioShack.com and search for 'buzzer '.

Also I forgot to include part of our system includes a light tower wich also has a buzzer. This buzzer is what we want to beep. The plc we are using is the D0-05DD-D. Thanks again in advance...

I have used the sp4 contact in conjuction with a counter. When the signal is received, let the sp4 contact pulsate the buzzer and count how many times the buzzer buzzes. However many times you want it to beep is what the preset value would be.
