I want to send a text message from DL05 port using PRINT instruction to inexpensive LCD display. Anyone know where I can buy this kind of LCDs?

I have not used these but they should work.
You may be tempted to use the +5VDC on the serial port to power them. If you do be very careful the units draw very little power (5ma) but the backlights draw more than the port can supply. Also it is easy to short or overload the 5VDC supply with bad results.
