main CPU error 1004 on a DP-C321/D4-450

I'm getting error code "main CPU error 1004 " on a DP-C321 touchscreen connected to a D4-450 CPU. Not listed in manual as a D4 error. Any ideas?

It is a DirectTouch Error. 1004 means that there is an illegal statement in the ScreenCreator program.
If the program has not been changed recently, then the most likely suspect is a power glitch that corrupted the ScreenCreator program.
