I am trying to use a DL-260 to send ascii strings to an Adept robot via port 2 on the CPU. I am having limited success with the vprint command. After I use vprint, I check the data values to find either nothing is there, or something old is there that didn't get replaced by new values. I am currently using some comm port software on my PC to monitor the output of port 2 of the 260 to no avail. I believe I have my Secondary comm port settings right. I have even tried just using the print command to see if I can get anything out of the port - no luck there either. Any ideas? Thanks for your help! Chip

ASCII is a bit too complex to try and troubleshoot here on the forum. Please give tech support a call at 770-844-4200. They should be able to get you fixed up.
