Has anyone tried used DirectSoft on a Mac running virtual PC w/XP and a USB to serial adaptor? Need to program a DL05.

    Nope, but it sounds like one heck of a headache to me... DS in virtual PC on a MAC and getting USB-RS232 to work? yuck!

    DS makes a lot of o/s calls to get serial ports to work. If you have an ECOM, you have a better chance because DS uses WinSock for Ethernet, which is more abstract than dealing with UART devices.

    Let us know if you do or do not get it to work.
