Flow meter with a DL260

Anyone know how to do this?..... Take a pulse input from a flowmeter...make the 260 calculate instantaneous gallons per minute, and also give total gallons. Love the 260, but it needs a totalizer / integrator block. Thanks, rv

Here's what I use. The flowmeter I use just gives me a pulse every gallon which makes the code easy and also means no expensive high speed counter card is needed (for my app anyway).

Sam, With the HSC card I haven't done flow totalizing, just strip speed and length. But, it should be almost the same thing. Look at 3-16 in the manual. If you use the rate function it will give you GPM. If you use the position function, this should give you the flow totalizing.
Check it out and see if it fits the bill!
