I have a customer that would like to be able to view which of the lights on his controller (which includes a serial remote controller, both 405 units 440 and RS)are lite. This includes not only the power/run/cpu/batt,i/o,com etc. on the Master, and the pwr,I/o, run, par, diag, link but also the lights on the relay output modules. I 've been able to make the diagram for the controllers on the Lookout page along with the lights, but for most of the lights are unable to show if they are active or not.... what I need is the location to display (V or whatever) so that I can activate the "lights " on the Lookout display. Thanks...

The "run " light is easy, use SP1. The "coms " LEDs would be impossible to simulate as the coms speed to Lookout just isn't fast enough. The "bat " light can be found at SP43. The Power and CPU lights are easy as well. If either of those are lit, Lookout will loose communications, so...
As far as I know Lookout cannot access most of the diag data from the I/O cards, so that leaves them out.
Most of this information can be found in appendix "D " of the user manuals.

As Tech Guy stated, creative use of the SP relays (in Appendix D) is going to be your best bet to display the PLC status. For the output lights, why not just use the bit map for the output status? V40500-V40577 contain the status of ALL the possible output points (See pages 3-43 and 3-44 in the 405 User Manual).
