Has anyone had any problems using the 24VDC power supply that is on the 205 Base to power an EZTEXT (EZ-SP) unit? In the past the 24VDC off of the GE,TI DL305 bases would blow after a few years. Since then, I use an independent 24VDC power supply to run my sensors, but in this case, only the EZ-SP will need 24VDC. This unit is being built for a customer but I am limited on space on the back panel. Thanks

It is not recommended to run the EZ-Text units off of the plc power supply. The EZ-Text units need more start up surge current than the plc power supply can give.

Please use a seperate EZ-Text power supply.
