I am trying to understand if the plugin LCD for th D06 can be used as an operator interface to change timer values in a ladder program. Thanks. Clay

The DL06 LCD is not designed to be an operator interface. It does not have a way to call a line to the front and edit values directly while displaying text.

It can edit memory registers, BUT the user must know what the address of the register is to be able to find it. This must be done through the menu, from selection 3 "Monitor " mode.

Also you cannot access the keypad through the ladder program. The keys are not mapped to memory addresses.

Thanks, that's a shame. It seems the LCD is really not all that handy.

Yeah, it's more for display and diagnostics than control. You can display messages with embedded values from V-memory, but it's a shame you can't make your own menus and use the arrow keys. That would make it a pretty decent, extremely cheap alternative interface for simple applications.
