Hi, I'm new with PLCs and Ladderlogic in general and have been working on getting the Step/direction function (Mode 30) of the CTRINT to work with my DC Stepper motor. I 've been able to follow the instructions in the manual (section 5) but i'm not getting any responses from the motor. Let me know if I'm missing anything here in the logic: 1) Initialize V7633 = K30 2) Use "K103 " for V7637 since wanting step/direction output. 3) Set Velocity profile (automated) 4) Set Contact C1 = Y4 Output. Thats it so far...my goal is to initialize the program, trigger the Contact C1 using "override " feature to send Y4 "High "... From what i am to believe, Sending Y4 High will get the velocity profile to be run...where am I going wrong? Concept or implementation? Regis

Hi,
I'm new with PLCs and Ladderlogic in general and have been working on getting the Step/direction function (Mode 30) of the CTRINT to work with my DC Stepper motor. I 've been able to follow the instructions in the manual (section 5) but i'm not getting any responses from the motor.
Let me know if I'm missing anything here in the logic:
1) Initialize V7633 = K30
2) Use "K103 " for V7637 since wanting step/direction output.
3) Set Velocity profile (automated)
4) Set Contact C1 = Y4 Output.
Thats it so far...my goal is to initialize the program, trigger the Contact C1 using "override " feature to send Y4 "High "...
From what i am to believe, Sending Y4 High will get the velocity profile to be run...where am I going wrong? Concept or implementation?
