I already have PC-PGM205 in use on my machine. Is is possible to buy and install PC-PGM105 along with PGM205 or would I have to purchase PC-PGMSW (the $500 package)?

Assuming that your existing PC-PGM205 is the 32-bit package, just install the 105 package "on top of " your 205 package. This will "merge " the two versions into one 32-bit package that supports 05, 105, and 205 (but not 305 or 405).
If, however, your existing PC-PGM205 IS the 16-bit version of DirectSoft, you do one of two things:
1. buy a new PC-PGM205 AND a new PC-PGM105 ($199 + $99 = $298).
OR
2. buy the full up PC-PGMSW ($495).
If you know you will never need 305 or 405, it's cheaper to do #1. If you know you will need 305 or 405 someday, bite the bullet and do #2.
