Totalizer for DL-350

I am a little new to programing PLCs. I would like any info on programming a totalizer. I have a 4-20mA signal for a flow of 0-100 gpm. I need to totalize and reset every 24 hours at 8:00am. I will also be polling the totalizer throughout the period. I am using the DL-350 processor. If anyone has any samples or suggestions I would be greatful. George

    The principal is pretty straight forward. Pick a resolution (gallons, thousand gallons, etc.) and an interval. Usually once every 10 seconds is enough for a stable flow. For a fast changing flow you may need a shorter time period.

    Convert your 0-4095 value to gallons. Use a repeat cycle timer (a TMRA that resets itself) to go to a subroutine or enable a logic block that multiplies the current flow by the time interval. Keep track of the units! the result is gallons, which you can add to a register.

    Test hour minute and seconds registers against 8:00:00 and if they are all true go to a subroutine and zero our all the values.
