Hi, I'd like to get 20 or so data values out of a CLICK onto a smart phone screen via Bluetooth. I'd be nice to send a few data values back too. Has anyone tried doing this or have you heard of someone pulling it off? A BT module could probably be linked in to the CLICK via 232/485?

I 've done it via an Ethernet Click and a WiFi smart phone, not sure if you can get a BT module to work via the serial port. You'd probably have to get the BT module to speak modbus. I 've always considered Bluetooth to be too finicky for "real " uses, so haven't explored it much.

An option would be to use a headless C-More.

The Cmore would communicate to the Click PLC. You can then use a C-More remote mobile app for your phone.

Just a thought.
