I am using a DL260 communicating to some Modbus devices. I am getting the Success bits as I should when connected to the devices. However, when I unplug the D2-DSCBL-2 from port 2, I do not get error bits from the NETRX Boxes. I have looked at the cross-reference for multiple uses of the error bits and the V registers of the Workspaces for all of these NETRX boxes (as well as a manual search for all) and none are in used in multiple places. I have even put SP2 bits in front of all logic for every NETRX other than one device and I still get not error bit state changes. What is the problem?

Unplugging the cable also disconnects the RTS/CTS jumper which means the instruction just sits there waiting for the RTS line to become active. Since it is never ready, it can't error out.
