Hi All, First off let me start by saying I have no experience with industrial automation, my employer tasked me with finding a solution to a machine monitor issue and after doing some research I decided on the P3000 product line. I am monitoring 14 discrete 0-10vdc inputs using a 3 card chassis with a P3-RS and a P3-16AD-2 analog input module, the RS connects via a wireless bridge to the P3-550 and is visually monitored by a 6 " C-More display. I am able to get the analog signal to display to the C-More with a simple PAC in Run command and using a scaled output to complete the ladder command. My problem is that occasionally the wireless bridge looses connection and puts the P3000 in stop mode. When the link is restored the only way I can get it to work again is to physically cycle the run switch on the P-550. is there a way to get the P-550 to monitor the data link and return to run mode when link is restored? Thanks in advance for your assistance

No. The Stop mode change is designed into the system for safety when communications is lost with the remote base. The only way to restore the communications is to cycle power.

So.... the "work around " for this would be to "Not Detect if Remote Base Group is Disconnected " I tried this and it does work for MY specific needs but by doing so it does circumvent a basic safety design stop and should be used with caution.

That would be correct.
