Hello, I'm a newbe and would to know analog transmitter with an RS 422 out can I use a RS 422 DATA COMMUNICATIONS MODULE to read the transmitter? If it can would someone point me in the right direction. Regards, Ken

What PLC are using.
RS422 gets you a wiring specification. What comm layer is your transmitter putting out (modbus RTU, ASCII, etc).
Some of the PLCs (DL06, D2-260, etc) may be able to read the data on the 2nd comm port on the CPU.
