I need to make a custom cable for the USB-RS-232 adaptor. I need the RJ12 pin assignments. Does anyone have this information? Thanks.

kewakl: Thanks for the reply. Also thanks to Tech support.
I wanted to construct a cable with the RJ12 - DB9 and this will allow me to continue. :)

Tubecut, I hope you understood that the diagram is of the port, not the cable.

Yes, I understood what you posted. I need to make a cable that goes from
the RJ12 of the USB to serial adaptor and have the cable terminated to
a DB9. Thanks for your reply.:)

the ones that I have made require just 3 conductors.
(1 or 6) and 3 and 4.
You never stated which controller that will be connected to this cable.

kewakl: I will be using the adapter for several things. I didn't mention a particular PLC because I am going to use it as a general serial adapter.
I use it to connect micros to each other or the PC.
