Ok so the other day I put a password on my dl 250, and then everytime I touched the touch panel I got the " protocol error ". I now know I have to use the capital A then 7 digits as the password. The manual mentions the password can be a multi-level password (by using A1234567 as an example). So what is this Multi level password capable of? Is it only allowing my touch panel to link to my program? I guess the "multi " is throwing me off into thinking that there are more features that the password can lock or unlock. Are there other features?

Multi-level refers to how it handles the PLC memory. Using multi-level allows communication access to Vmemory, but the program itself is still protected just like if it were a full password.
