Has anyone interfaced a PLC to a CAN-Bus network? I see more and more CAN-Bus networking being used in the automotive and resently aftermarket automotive industry. Trevor

Allen-Bradley's Devicenet is a modified form of CAN-Bus
In AutomationDirece the F4-SDS module also utilizes a modified CAN-Bus.

About the only thing is the D0-DEVNETS which allows it to be a Devicenet slave No masteering stuff though.

Yes, a slave only receives commands.
