I need to have a cable about 30 ' long to connect the screen to the PLC. The PLC connections are via ethernet. My laptop is communicating with the PLC, but the PLC is not Communicating with the screen. I have verified the IP address repeatedly to no avail. Is there a driver missing? Will these two units not chat with one another? Any ideas appreciated.

Is the screen communicating with the PLC over Ethernet as well?
If so, are you using a hub or a cable? If it is just a cable, then it needs to be a crossover cable. A straight through patch cable will work sometimes with a PC, but not with the PLC to Touchscreen due to the PC having auto-patching capability that crosses the correct wires.

Maybe I misunderstood...
Are you trying to get a Cmore 10 inch panel communicating to a GE 9030 CPU 374 via ethernet?
This will not work. Cmore only has a SNPX driver for GE 9030, which is a serial connection.

Thanks for the replies.
That's what I was afraid of. My search showed no driver available for the 90-30. I would much prefer ethernet comms with the C-More panel.
I was hoping that somebody had come up with a fix.

Although I have never done it myself, my understanding is that the ethernet port on the CPU374 can be set up for Modbus TCP communications.
With Modbus TCP you will only be able to directly read %I, %Q, %AI, and %R memory in the 90-30. You won't be able to read from %M memory.
