Dears, I have two MaxStream's radios, TX modem and RX modem, that are communicating without any problems. But, if I put the GPS Garmin 18 on RS 232 port on TX modem, to make retransmition to RX modem plugged on laptop, that are using the nRoute Software, the nRoute software can't get this informations. When I just plug the GPS directly on laptop and open nRoute, it reads the GPS informations without problems. I 've already check on pins and cables and it seens to be ok. What could be happening?? Thanks.

Vinicius,
This shounds like a protocal issue. You need to check with Maxtream & or Garmin to see if you can run whatever Garmin's protocal over the Mastream radios.
Another issue might be with matching the buad rate. Can the Maxtream radios provide the baud rate that the Garmin unit is looking for?

Dear Elevmike,
We 've already checked the baud rate of radios and Garmin GPS, just contacting Maxstream Corp and, we could set the GPS and Radios to work all in 4800 baud rate.
In fact, we 're thinking that we 're having problems with out-put pins of GPS that need to be plugged rs232 port on TX modem.
We need the cables and pins schema, to check if it's ok.
Thank you.
