I have a machine that uses a DLo5 , gs1 and a optimate 0p-414 to set timer and counter set points . I need the 4x protection, to much opening the pannel to change settings the drive switches between 2 multi-speed settings each cycle and these need to be changed for different products. what is the best way to remote change 5-02 , 5-03? I have extra room in my op414 can I use the top port on the DLo5 to communicate with the gs1 if so what has to be changed to allow programing? can I use an input to change ladder for program/run? would switching to a c-more micro help?

The 05 can talk to the drive on port 2 (supports modbus) but the panel can't talk directly to the drive.

You'll need to convert the 05 port connection from RS232 to RS485, I would use the FA-ISOCON for this.
